We had a bumper crop of satsuma oranges 🍊 this year. We've been eating our weight of the things for 3 or 4 weeks now . We've been giving them away to family, neighbors and friends, but we've still got a couple hundred on the trees. So ,I decided to see if I could make some satsuma jelly, to try and prevent wasting so many. I just looked on line and found a recipe and went with it. It was pretty simple and I think that it's going to be pretty dang good ! I cheated and tried a little bit of the extra liquid that was left over after filling the jars. Now I have to wait until tomorrow morning to try it in jelly form. I also saw a satsuma pepper jelly that I might have to try ! I couldn't get all the pictures to load together for some reason...so I had to load them separately. I didn't go with half pints.. I used the smaller 1/4 pints. Also... I strained my juice to remove the pulp, because I wanted a clear jelly. I don't think that they did that in the recipe.
