A friend of mine had a St Bernard pup that got a sponge lodged in its intestines. They tried exploratory surgery and found it. The dog lingered on for a day and then died of gangrene. I would shoot a coyote before making it sick.

Unfortunately you won’t make a dent in them hunting. They are very smart, once you use a caller in an area once, they wise up.

Steel traps is the best way and safest for not harming other animals. Even dogs can be released from a steel trap and do fine.

Unfortunately Florida is hard to deal with.
