Engel Cooler Customer Service

A friend gave me an Engel cooler for gas money on the boat. I have been generally pleased with the performance, especially the ability to keep ice for a long time in the July/August heat. However, last Friday two of the latches failed. As you may know, they are supposed to be bear proof. The latch has a pin at the top that failed. I could not find a replacemnt online so I contacted Engel. No questions asked - they popped two replacement latches in the mail and they are here less than a week later free of charge and free postage as well. I am happy to report that they stand behind the coolers.

NICE to know that...Am thinking of breaking down and etting a big one...expensive...but worth it from everything I've read...

+1 on the the customer service. Contacted them through the website and was contacted back immediately. Hinges arrived quickly though I had to pay.
6 months later I had the handle break. E-mailed them and didn't hear back so I just about gave up. A couple days later, handle arrives in the mail for free. Thanks Denise in customer service.
