To start getting ready. Time hasn't been on my side this year. Momma mentioned camping with Hayden and I said say no more. Loaded up and tent camping tonight after getting everything bushoged. Maybe trimm some roads. Gonna leave the tractor up here for the next 2 weeks get it tilled and planted.

It was bad, made if 40 ft in the gate before I had to park and unload. 8 or 9 trees in total across the road through our lease, lol. They are all down and moved, some limbs trimmed and all the perimeter bushog done. I have a few hours tomorrow and it can lay a week before I come till it and hopefully plant depending on forecast!

Brought one if the last packs of deer burger I had in the freezer, made burger patties, grilled onions tossed in a pan with gravy and some seasoned green beans,on the bunson warmer, grilled connecuh too, dern good camp dinner.

Fire warm, fan blowing on low Bama game on, its rough out here...

Pics tomorrow when we get back into better service

Watch out for them Nope Ropes. They have been on the move so maybe an early Winter.
I might spill a sack of corn and a few sweet taters a few yards fom my camper window. My old body dosent feel up tp planting plots this year or hanging out on a cold ladder stand this season. With the cost of an Alabama non-resident lisence to hunt my own property I pay taxes on, its going to be a "If its brown it's down" meat year for me.

It was a good getaway and even got a few things done. Dinner was purdy good. I forgot eggs and ate conecuh with dinner since had more mouths than planned, so decided to head to evergreen and eat some connecuh store breakfast this morning.... only to find out only open fri-Sat now. Wtf.

Going to watch the weather, hoping to plant next weekend. 1 more week of trimming and prep the weekend after then time to see whats walking around and if I can stick something.

Bring a dust mask, lol. I ran short on seed, but got it all tilled and spread on 3 places. Finish the big one tomorrow, drag it then clean shooting houses out, fill some feeders, put some cameras out swap straps on a few stands and if time allows, shoot any birds that fly to a empty field.

Forecasted for Slight Sunday and definite Monday, however, I bet it will be dry after that till the first good cold front end of the month... hope I am wrong though. Hope the seeds take by mid week and the stupid turkey don't find them, lol

Busy 2 days, but got everything turned over, spread and packed. Cameras all out, although forgot to turn one on, lol. Feeders filled, wife and Hayden got the shooting houses cleaned out, checked the hang on stands, cleared some lanes.

The culvert at the clear cut was washed out this summer aome time, dry as a bone now so I took the tractor in the usual creek and got 8 bucket loads out, removed a tree from one side, Culvert is clear now and hopefully the road holds a while.

Have had a shooting house that was left on the place when we got it back in 2011, sitting in the road at the clear cut, since it was a clear cut, lol. Decided its going to be re pourposed for an out house, that will be a thread in a few weeks, lol.

One more plot didn't get a picture until after dark. Also raked the leaves away in the hardwoods at my bow stand and threw some throw and grow from mannings, anxious to see if it comes up again, may have to sit it in a week and a half a time or 2 before I go deeper and find the accorns.
