try tipping the hooks with a bit of squid. I hold the tentacles of the squid together and make 1mm cuts all the up to the mouth of the squid. Then you have a lot of small pieces to put on the tip of each hook. Works great for me. As for casting net,,, if you soak some dry oat meal and mashed up old frozen bait together and add 50% sand and water to make sand balls... throw the sand balls in the water... when they hit the water they break apart letting your chum float down slowly... throw 2 or 3 of these balls, back off get your casting net ready then move in slowly with your motor in idle.... throw the casting net in near where you threw the balls and you'll catch them. :thumbsup:
