It's been so long since I have fished Yellow River below Holt I can't remember what to look for on the river gauge for decent fishing. I see Shoal is running a little high but Yellow at Milligan is steady. Of course it changes below the confluence where they join.
Looking a fishig maybe Tue or Wed of next week.
Any advise from some of the locals would help.

Thanks, JB

The only gauges are below there in Milligan and above there on 87. Hard to tell what levels will be. Shoal runs into Yellow above Ginhole. If Shoal is up and muddy it will affect Holt water. How much is hard to tell.

I was in Crestview today and checked Shoal on hwy 90. It was up and rather muddy, but not like a Choctawhatchee muddy. Looked fishable to me.

Anyway, by this time next week we may be up to our necks in weather alligators anyway.
