One of my buddies in Veniceis in need of a 30" left Yamaha 350 lower unit. He was told by Yamaha repsthat there are no left unitsin the country and he will have to order it from the Japs. This will take two weeks and he has charters already booked. Any help or links would be appreciated.

That's exactly what he called me for:boo. I don't mind helping, butI don't want to tear my center engine down and not be able to run if I need to. I would rather help him locate a replacement.

He could go ahead and order it and then try to borrow a boat to run the couple of charters he has until his lower unit comes or tell the customers he is waiting for lower unit and give them a little bit of a refund if they can wait a few days. I dont know that is a shitty situtation.
