I'm looking for a few different items and have a few different items to trade if anyone is interested......

Looking for:

<U>small framed 38 revolver or maybe 380 semiauto</U>.

<U>12 ga shotgun</U>- got one, traded with gmn104 for the Tekota combo.

<U>Bow - 30"</U>- got one, traded with Bonita Dan for one of the Penn reel combos.

What I've got for trade:

<U>Tekota 700 w/ 5'9" Star Rod - </U>GONE

<U>Penn 8500ss on a 7' Key Largo</U> -GONE

<U>Penn 9500ss on a 7' 6" Key Largo</U> - wire guides, spooled with 50#pp

<U>8mm German Mauser</U> (1890 model) made in 1900 (Turkish Model) that's been somewhatsporterized (rolled bolt, orig stock but shortened fore grip)action and barrel are in great condition and still shoot tight. A previous owner JB welded a rear sight that really looks bad and I just haven't taken the time to have it repaired properly.

<U>Hawken 50 cal. octagon muzzleloader</U> with pretty much all the accessories from sabots, powder to tools for maint and cleaning.

Depending on the trade, I'm willing to combine but I don't want to get rid of both of the big spinners, just one and keep one. I can post up some pics if there's interest. I'm really not looking to shell out cash or cash from anyone for any of the items, just cool trades. My grandfather had a nickname of "scrap iron" because he was always trading stuff and I guess I'm working my way into that role.

Dan, won't make it tonight.

Golden Eagle II - is that a bow, if so what kind of specs and accessories. I did a search and only came up with youth models. I'm actually looking for one for me.

Just some unsolicited advice - if your wife doesn't like the recoil of a 9mm, she isn't going to like shooting an S&W Airweight .38 either, especially if you use +P. I would get her something a little heavier in all steel, like a Model 60 maybe and shoot .38s out of it.

probably taking her to the range this weekend or the next to shoot a friends but there's also other reasons I would prefer she didn't shoot my 9mm. It's a mint Browning Belgium Hi-Power that I don't even want to shoot. Thanks for the info though.

scott....another option other than the S&W would be the charter arms undercover lite (link below) I bought one of these for my sister to keep on her night stand. Great little gun.....i shot probably close to 300rds out of it a few weekends ago up at the camp....a mixture of handloads, cheap factory loads, and high end +p loads and didn't have so much as a hiccup out of it....shoots/feels as good as myS&W642

I have a Remington 870 12 guage shotgun that has never been used. Bought several years back in expectation of joining a Dove Hunting Clubwhich never happened. Gun is in brand new, never fired condition. Also have case and shells to go with it.

I am new to saltwater fishing and am looking for gear. What is the primary use for the Tekota 700? Trolling, bottom fishing etc? Would be interestedin possible trade.

Thanks

Not trying to derail the thread, but I'm looking for a gun for my wife also. Over the weekend we went with a friend and shota .22 semi-auto, then .32, a .380, .357 revolver and a .45 semi-auto. She did well with all of them but took a shine to a .38 snubby "airweight" at Buck and Bass. Anyone know ifone of the Charter Armslike posted in the link by biggamefishrcan be purchased in P'cola or nearby? Due to simplicity I think she'd be better off with a revolver than a semi-auto. Any helpful advice appreciated.
