I have a Makaira 30II (Top of the Line Trolling Reel w/better specs than most 50Ws). Designed for braid w/55lbs of drag. Just had it completely overhauled/serviced & paid ~$60 for the Mak-50 (Larger) Handle Upgrade. Retail/Tax/Handle = $500+$40+60=~$600. Will sell for $375 Cash in Panama City Beach (or $400 Shipped-including USPS Priority Mail/PayPal Fees & Insurance). I have some matching rods from ~$100-$200/ea., but would prefer to sell Rods F2F-as they're hard to photograph & ship... If you aren't familiar w/Makaira (I wasn't), read some specs & reviews... These reels are smoother & performs better than any other trolling reel I've ever used (including Tiagra/Penn Int./Avet EXW/Santiago/etc). If I didn't already have a full/matching set-up of 6) Avet 30W/50W Trolling reels, I'd build a set-up around the Makaira (it's that good)

Get a couple of red 6/0 and 4/0. It;s really all you will need unless you just want the gold reels for the boat. Biggest Whaoo I had only dumped half of a 6/0.
