I have a "like new" SKS that I'm upgrading to shooter status. I just ordered a TAPCO T6 Stock and am having a hard time finding a good rear cover / scope mount.

Anybody out there sporterized an SKS with a good scope mount configuration?

Anybody have a left-over rear cover I can buy and modify myself?

Anybody out there have any good advice?

Anybody out there awake?? (LOL!)

P.S. Tomorrow, 8pm on FOX, the (factual) movie presented about " Who OBAMA really is!" 2016

I regret not getting this, I got the kind that takes a few hours of filing, loctite out the hoohah and I'm still not 100% it will keep a zero. You can drill an tap yourself or take to a gunsmith for minimal costs. I'm awaiting mine to arrive, shot the tri-rail receiver cover style for the last time today. I'm done with it. Save yourself the trouble and buy this choate.

I had the chote mount ...drilled and tapped the receiver myself...not hard with a good drill press. But....... Ended up taking it all back off, because it makes it awkward to load the rounds....can't use stripper clips.
Had the gun out at the range the other day....set up as it was built...popping clays at 140 yards with the iron sights.
Don't really think you can improve these rifles by "modernizing"....think they got it right when they made them.

Ya know, that's what I keep reverting back to. I had scope issues today and was using iron sights in a led sled and drilling it time after time, I think I need to take the damn scope off and use it the way it was supposed to be used. Thanks for the inspiration!
