For those of you who do your own processing, what kind of wrapping paper do you use and where do you get it?

You can get the white freezer paper from Winn Dixie. It is right there with the tin foil and wrap. For tape just use masking tape.

Vacuum sealer is the best! They usually have them on sale for Christmas.

Spend the money - you won't believe the difference. I have venison from 2 years ago that's as fresh as the day it was frozen.

There is a paper goods supply company behind the Churchs Chicken across Hwy 29 from Wal-Mart. You can buy bulk and save.

I use the white paper. Never thought it was expensive, but it does go along way.

Vacuum sealing is better, but takes a long time when doing alot. If I'm doing 50 or 100 lbs of sausage, well, I don't bother with my vacuum sealer. It would take all week. That said, I do have a cheap sealer and really need a "real" one for that kind of load.
