Ft Pickens, fresh dead shrimp with sand flea fishbites. Caught a keeper blue at daylight, big red at 6:30. 14 inch pomp at 8:30. About a million catfish in between, they were all on the shrimp fishbites so I switched.

I’m in town for a few days I’ll keep this updated.

Pomps are slow so far this morning, got a big ol shark though. He ran half way to Cuba before I turned him around, took 40 mins to get him in. Got him on a pompano head I saved from yesterday. Spinner I think?

I slayed them today boys. Got my first pompano limit and a huge black drum.

First pomp was at daybreak on a sand flea, the rest came around noon on shrimp. They were all on the sandbar, I waded out and tried to land the rig right on top of it. One was a pig, I swore he was a big red until I saw him flash. I lost another decent one right at the beach. Fun day, happy hour is calling.
