Took my wife fishing with me yesterday in SR Sound. The bite was really slow at first except for the pesky needle fish. I guess she got bored and was dangeling her live shrimp a few feet down messing with the pin fish when all the sudden her rod bends towards the water. She immediately started screaming for me to help. When I got over to her she had reeled in her biggest Redfish ever. The minute I reached down to grab the line to pull him up he broke the line. I felt so bad because she went from very excited about her catch to disapointment instantly. Im guessing he was maybe 24" very nice Red. I wanted a pic of her with her first Red but he won that battle. Now she is determined to go back and get him. Her face was priceless as she was fighting this fish.
