Smoked a nanny at about 9:30 yesterday morning in a creek bottom in Butler county. Had a 4 point at 10 steps and shot that milker at 13 yards. Saw 3 other does with the one I shot. Forgot to take a picture of the deer but she was about 75lbs.

Thanks guys. I sat on a food plot in the afternoon and saw a bobcat and 2 coyotes. Yotes never got within 60 yards, but they had me covered up all afternoon. Every time they'd howl I'd dang near fall out of my lock-on.

Didn't so much as see anything that weighed more than a pound til I was on my way home. Saw one little bitty fawn on the side of the road that didn't have a clue that it was supposed to be scared of me. Them momma deer gotta do a better job teaching.

Yeah, no kidding.

This weekend will be some good time away from the store though. I'll be hunting in the Hutton unit for the first Archery hunt. Taking Sat, Sun, Mon, and Tue. off and plan on being in the woods all 4 days. Hopefully I can come out of there with a few deer and maybe even a piggy.
