The weather forecast for tomorrow and the next few days is excellent. This may be the last chance to tag white marlin in the Desoto Canyon area (Nipple, Spur, Elbow, Steps, etc.) The project will not continue beyond this month, and it may be our last chance to understand the migration and movements of white marlin in our area.
Please, if possible, get out there and see if you can catch a white marlin and donate it to science by letting one of our collaborating (carrying the satellite tags) boats (Long-Run, DataMan, Reel Addiction, and whatever boat Capt. Jeremy Williams is captaining) tag the fish you catch.
If it all possible, please get out there and try to contribute to this important, once-in-a-lifetime research. When you get out there, please try to raise any of the aforementioned vessels and keep track of where they are so that they can get to you to tag any white marlin that you will catch and release.
I thank you so much if you can help. The resource (white marlin) will be the ultimate beneficiary. Please try to help if you can!
Thank you,
