I was told the other day that the black whiskers on the bottom of the whisker biscuit rest were more rigid and designed to not be shot through (the fletchings should not pass through it)as it would mess up the flight of your arrow, I have used a whisker biscuit now for several years and have never once paid attention to where my odd colored fletch has passed through.


Has anyone else ever heard of this or have any comments on it?

Heard the same thing, I have always had fletch up out of habit but dont know if it matters

Yes, cock vane always goes up with a whisker biscuit. The black whiskers are more stiff to give the arrow support.

I learned that fun fact after about 2 years of shooting odd color down on my biscuit. I didn't notice a major difference but it definitely made sense to switch.
