Second picture looks as if she is not much thinner than the one behind her. Has there been enough good food source around your area? They shure look thin? But i would guess they have not been long ago droped a little one too! I am no expert, just my opinion

She might have 2 fawns and they are sucking everything she has out. She doesn't look unhealthy other than being a little thin. If she has twins and she is still feeding them then she is going to be thinner than normal. Once she quits feeding them she will add the weight back on. Think about a women breast feeding. They loose weight like crazy...when they stop the pack it back on...lol.

Most of the deer in this area have been eating well. I have been feeding them corn and planted a nice plot for them in this location. I have seen a few skinny deer but this one looks worse than any with a really sunken stomach. Hopefully she will recover. Thanks for the replies.

Feeding corn does nothing for the health of a deer. It is just a carb for them with very little nutritional value. When they corn feed in the snow deer die from starvation with a belly full of corn.

If you want to see deer corn is the ticket. If you want to feed deer, there are better options. When they are drawn down from feeding little ones, time and nutrition are the only cure.... It is really cool that they change food sources, when available, as they need. Deer are amazing creatures.
