I'm gonna take the girlfriend out to escambia/white river Saturday evening/night to try to put some flatheads in the boat. Hopefully I can get her to reel a couple in, just as long as a monster don't grab the bait and rip the rod out of her hands. I think I'm gonna tie a leash to the rods just in case. (wishful thinking) but sure as I don't, I'll loose a rod ! Cathunter, I think I'm gonna go hit one of your spots. don't run us over if you see us there :whistling:

Well I don't have any photos to post. We started out there where the river splits on the whites side just before it got totally dark, had one good bite, I picked up the rod, clicked it into drive, and pulled up and started reeling. I got two good head shakes and then it was gone. prob 10 to 15 lb range. hard to say. Then we didn't get any more bites for the rest of the time. left the river about one thirty. I'm just waitin till Cathunter gets his license then gonna go with him and see how it's actually done.
