Fresh caught alabama river blue catfish. Brined and smoked with hickory until flaky but moist. Woulda been the best ever - BUT - I forgot to rinse off the brine before putting them in the smoker - they are so sugary / salty that all I could do is sit and stare at them - yes that's the dogs bowl they are in....my lab didn't understand what the problem was!! image-1894420041.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

My dog has been the beneficiary of culinary mistakes as well. One night we went to McGuires and I ordered a med rare ribe eye like always. It came out with med-rare tag but it was cooked well done. I complained and the manager brought me a new steak and asked if I had a dog so I can bring the bad one to him. He was one happy camper that night!
