+1. We need details!Great bucks for sure. Kill them on a plot or in the woods? We need details!!!!
Congrats!!!
Not me! Not a bad rule, some of our guys are older and don't bow hunt so it gives them something to look forward to. We are at a 2-1 ratio so the days of 75-100 does per season are over. I hate this rule during bow season, but love it Thanksgiving weekend!Kevin, when/who made the rule that you can't bow hunt plots? That's the best time to thin the does up there without spooking horns.
It doesnt help you at all when everyone starts shooting does on food plots with guns. No does on plots at all would be a better rule. Its a great rule. You can still thin does without hunting plots. Everytime you hunt a plot it educates the bucks there. If you stay out, the gun opener is awesome on plots.
Thats my point. Opening day is great for killing BUCKS when they havent had any pressure. You should try it before you make opinions. It doesnt help you at all when everyone starts shooting does on food plots with guns. No does on plots at all would be a better rule.
I was in this club and did try it, you? I have been in several clubs and it seems to me that more bucks are killed on plots when people aren't shooting does with rifles. I would rather not shoot does on plots at all instead of just not bow hunting them.Thats my point. Opening day is great for killing BUCKS when they havent had any pressure.
