Looking at getting a light weight scope for my 6.8. The one I have on it now is just too heavy for it as its illuminated. Looking at getting the Trijicon AccuPoint TR20-2G Rifle Scope 3-9x 40mm. Will mostly be used for low light/night hunting hogs. Any thoughts on these as far as light gathering and glass quality? Does anyone stock them locally?

I ordered mine from optics planet... Lets see I've got three leupolds, two zeiss, 3 meopta's, and one trijicon that is waiting to be mounted on my new rifle, if it ever comes in. That being said I would throw them all in the ditch to get to the trijicon. The glass is awesome, I've got the 56mm with the green triangle reticle. The triangle illuminates at night. Best quality scope on the market in my opinion. I will be selling off some of my others to make the switch to trijicon, in fact I will probably order a new 56mm mildot from optics planet next week for my 300wsm. eBay has some good buys on them as well:thumbsup:

I wondered how long it was gonna take after the forum was sold out before they were going to start making changes. Looks like this forum is on a slippery slope. I especially like the way they just lock and close a post so you can not see people complain. More ads might help though, pop ups will be next. It is just a bunch of crap.

Looks like I am in the wrong business. I need to build docks for a living. I wanted a Trijicon AccuPoint scope for my .308 AR. I had to settle for something a lot less expensive.
