A military guy I work with did the responsible thing when he stored his weapons with a friend while on an overseas tour.
Problem is, he thought the friend keeping his guns for him had the keys for the trigger locks and vis-a-versa.

Any suggestion on how to get the locks off? I recommended contacting the manufacturer with the serial numbers and asking for new keys. He is thinking of finding a lock smith. Any recommendations on a good lock smith is appreciated.

Any other ideas?

I don't know this for sure but it would be worth trying.
Those locks are pretty cheap and most guns come with free ones. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those keys are interchangeable.
Find somebody with the identical lock and see if the key works.

See if there is a 3 digit number on the lock if there is usually you can order the key online. I also have several locks that are randomly keyedthesame. Different keys that are similar. Lastly I have drilled one off. They are usually cheap locks meant to prevent Someone from pulling the trigger not to be impossible to get off.
