Those NOAA guys ... such kidders. 1 & 2 with 6 sec intervals? Haaahaha! Headed out of Orange Beach to a sloppy confused seas. Some nice 3s and 4s to keep us awake. Ditched the plan to run SE and headed SW in the trough. Make it tolerable.

Dropped in lines at 7 miles, caught a bonito. Bait!

Turned SE and trolled a bit in 120ft. Nothing doing. Saw some flyers and had a herd of porpoise join us for a bit.

Made the "scamp hole" and caught one after another .... Red Snapper. In 250ft of water. WTH? Gave up on scamp and hit the Edge for mingo. Found a good show and dropped the wreck anchor. Chum bag out and had a pretty steady bite for a bit. Had a huge turtle come up in our chum line.

No mongos so we pull the hook and headed in. Ride in was nice. No pics this time but you know what mingos look like.

We hit the Edge also. Straight out of Pensacola Pass. Hit the first two or three spots (all lit up) nothing but 11-12". Ran around to two or three more spots before saying the heck with it and dropping on a small relief. Wound up with 22 or 23 mostly large ones. Had 4 or 5 four foot sharks,1 king, 1 bonito (for bait) and a really decent size File Fish. Seas a little bumpy and had a heck of a day with a bunch of little things not working out for us. Told the guys we might not have even been the "B" Team today!
