[Rocky Creek Rider]

We set some bush hooks with shrimp and chicken liver on the creek yesterday. Went back and checked them today. Had two small cats. They had a yellowish tent to the bottom of their head. My stepdad called them butter cats. The meat looks good and they skinned real easy. Thanks for all the advice yall gave me. I do believe I will be bush hookin again. God bless yall.

Butter cats, poly wogs, mud cat...I'm sure there's a few other names fer em....They don't get big but they are fine to eat....:letsdrink

If they had little white whiskers then they were Yellow Bullhead Catfish....very good to eat...normally get them in waters outside of flowing currents and ponds.
