Other than 4", what is the differance in pattern and kick of this 6" barrel and the 2" version.

SOS, I shot a derringer model in .45lc/.410 10 years ago, and it put 2 in a group the size of a watch face at about 10 steps (30 yards). I figure that is a little longer distance than before I would draw and fire. It was more of a push like a shotgun, not too much muzzle flip. The model I shot did not have a trigger guard, it was a true derringer style. Made by bond arms at least as long ago as 96'.

I have to think the the Lands and Groves in the barrel would be effected by the use of a shotshell and shot. Shot fired through a rifled barrel is something I would prefer not to do.
