wondering if I put sunblock on my boat trailer tires it would slow the dry rot
down. Or would it hurt the rubber? Seems like if it was made for human skin it would be safe but that's not always the case.

My guess is you would have to reapply it way to much to even be effective.. currently to my knowledge the highest they have is spf 100. That means applying every 100 mins.

What about some of those fabric covers, like you sometimes see on motorhomes?
Unless you're using the boat multiple times a week, it shouldn't be too much trouble taking them off and putting them back on.

By the time you add up the cash for covers, sunblock, sunbrella, armorall etc, you'd have spent enough for another tire. Use the boat more and get your money's worth out them.
