I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but I'm going to keep "keywords" out of the post so it doesn't pop up in a google search. Also Jon thank you again for the help and capping this animal out for me. He is now at Chads for taxidermy. But I will fill you in on how the kill went. 2pm I decided to climb down out of my saddle, as I was packing up all my gear, I had a gut feeling to look back in the marsh. What would you know, here comes this stag. I grab my muzzleloader, he stopped at about 50 yards, I shot, he ran 10 yards then stood there for about 30 seconds and fell over. He field dressed at 235lbs, was estimated to weigh around 320lbs.
