Do bucks spar in the same area(s) repeatedly? I have a spot on Escambia that has been tore up, mud/dirt, ever since I found it. Low hanging tree limb all rubbed up and tracks all over the area. It looks like a sparring spot since it stays that way. Probably 8 feet around. Is that typical behavior? I have one crappy night time pic of two young bucks sparring on that very spot but that's it.

Ed is probably right - big scrape - Bucks will spar any place they meet and a scrape is a likely place for them to meet. If there are more than a couple of trunk rubs within sight - its not a trail - its a hangout and you need to stay downwind of it and on the river side!!
