What a perfect week for fishing!!! Well, that is if you like 20 -25 mph winds howling out of the East for an entire week. I was able to squeeze two trips in this week even with stiff winds. The plan was to look for the few places around Santa Rosa Sound that I knew I could hide and hope to catch a few fish. The plan worked both days! We found quite a few Lower Slot Redfish working the edges of grass flats in 3'-5' of water with a nice mix of Trout with them as well.

We were also lucky enough both days to find some nice legal Flounder on the edges of pot holes an in tight to a few docks. We spent most of our time throwing live Shrimp under popping corks and Berkley GULP! sshrimp on a 1/4oz jig head. Very fun days with plenty of action even though we had less than ideal conditions.

.................................. See you out there
