WOW, atleast the boat looks ok.

I have noticed over the many years people really don't like doing maintenance.

Looks like he may have needed to use stainless steel U bolts for that axle

I'm afraid that's gonna happen to me driving up Stewart street in the right hand lane... Those manholes are hell on little trailer tires!

Florida tags on that one, can't give us Bama boys credit for that one. On the other hand, he may have had time to get himself a nice tatoo

That’s my worst nightmare. I don’t keep up with maintenance like I should, not that I don’t mean to but time just flies.
How often do you guys have your trailer bearings repacked?

What?!? I thought they came with grease already in them..:rolleyes:
:p

At a minimum at the beginning of each season and again before/after I drag it on a long trip.

I do see that he had it strapped to the trailer. That likely averted a much worse day.
Well, at least it happened before he loaded up with live bait at Outcast.

I have been using Bearing Buddies for about 20 years on both my boat trailers. No problems yet. I always give them a shot of grease before launching, then wash off in freshwater after. My launching ramp is at Pensacola Shipyard which is about one mile by streets.
