Saturday did a family trip. Hit some closer spots, took home 4 fat snappas.
Current was minimal, bite was slow.

Sunday had the hardcore crew. Headed out 20+ miles to a historically solid snapper hole.
The current was pulling hard and the wind was working with it.
Made holding on the spot tough.

Set anchor after 3 tries (gotta get rid of that aluminum deal), then started getting some bites.
Waded through a bunch of shorts and a few monster triggers.

The big ones wanted pinfish on a light leader (30lb) and small hook (4/0).
4-man limit in LT 2 hours. Seemed to take 1 hour to get the anchor set.

Best of the day was 15 lbs, lost a hoss to a pulled hook boatside that was yuuuggge.

Tropical storm is arriving for the Fla opener, ya'll be careful out there.

Not exactly a sure thing yet, but definitely bears watching.

Nice mess of fish! Looking forward to our turn!
