Took the new pompano 120 out to tiger point this morning in search of trout and redfish! Caught a pile of trout including my first ever on a top water! It was only 13in but wow what experience! I did miss one stud trout on the spook jr. But it was awsome to see him blow it up! All the trout were to small and the redfish eluded me this trip! Didnt get any meat to bring home but it was still a good morning on tge water in my new yak!

I live in Tiger Point and fish here all the time. I don't care what anyone says, there is nothing like it when all you see is a splash and your spool start spinning and you have no clue what you caught. I catch trout, reds and ladyfish all the time on top water. While the fish here aren't huge, you can normally catch your limit by sizing down on the top water lure. Of course this means releasing a bunch as most are schoolies but a good time never-the-less. Congrats on your 1st top water!!!
