Hit up blackwater around 5pm. The water was high and very dirty still just as a fellow forum member had warned . There was also alot of grass everywhere made it nearly impossible to fish... Hooked up some small specks near some docks. They were all dinky.... as the sun was starting to go down I caught a small Red took a some pics and released him. all fish were caught on Mirrodine 17m

sorry there wasnt more action....

Found about the same in the upper bay near Pace. Dirty, high water and not much action.

That's a pretty red you got Ox:thumbup:.
Bigger fish seem to be hiding from me also;)

When the water cools & clears up a bit, the bigguns should start jumping in the boat again.

Hey Ox, that spot looks familiar.
Try moving further south in the bay, look for water w/ higher salinity...every day w/o rain it just gets better.

I caught several specks and Reds a couple days ago in blackwater. The thread is under Inshore Fishing.

Caught them on top water jerk bait and gulp shrimp.
