The weather broke up here today for the first time in weeks. Took the mutt out for a walk and to get some pics. These shots are from Tee Harbor which is about 50 yards from the house. You can see the clouds moving back in from the south in some of the pics. It was even about 42 degrees out.

Nothing from the natives but alot of old mining stuff around. Some of the trails have old cars from the 30s and 40s that were abandoned.

I have tried like hell to get orders to Alaska but no joy....One more tour to go and I dont think I can get momma to buy off on the move. Great pictures...

This place definitely has it's good points. The winters are too long and dark but you can't beat the summers. When the fish are running you can't walk by a stream without catching a fish. They practically jump into your net for you.

I have spent many summers in Alaska and its by far one of my most favored places to live in the summer. Plan to have a summer cabin up there someday. What area are you located? Looks like a beautiful place to live.

I am in Juneau. Only have about three weeks left here though.
