We are down at ft Morgan for holiday and heard the helicopters early this morning and every ship at anchor waiting to come in had all their lights fired up

Seems that the captain swam to the lighthouse but the deckhands are still missing.

What could have caused that ? We have been watching these guys drag for several days out here. Very Calm conditions ...

Could they have hooked the trawl on something and pulled the boat over?

Praying they find them.

Good possibility. I've seen it a couple of times where a door hung up and pulled the outrigger on that side down and capsized the boat.

A little sudden list with a little water in the hull. 64 lbs for cubic foot of water is a lot of weight, the party is over.

My cousin sank his shrimper out of Panama City in '08 and his deckhand passed. They hooked the rigging on the bottom and it had already started to go over in a blink. He said it became a panic situation real quick.

Probably like ALL commercial fishermen, trying to make a living. And in the process made a mistake. Just hope noone was injured. An expensive lesson learned. That water even on a calm day can be deadley.

Both deckhands were lost. Very sad just hard working people trying to make a living.
