Got out today with my sons (one is a Marine). Kinda bumpy so we stopped short (sbout 5 miles). We caught about 8000 triggers, half dozen endangered Red Snapper, 2 Gags. Gotta to keep some beeliners for lunch.

Bumpy, foggy, but fishable. Just glad to get out.

We went out Saturday as well, my wife and I took two other couples out who have teenaged girls. We departed east pass around 0745, we hit 3 of my normal spots between 8 to 10 miles off shore.
First stop - Couldnt get away from the triggerfish and the ruby’s!!
Second stop - Switched to larger hooks and caught four “ENDANGERED” red snapper that were in the 24 to 32 inch range and four that were 12 to 15 inch range.
Third stop - one shark, five “ENDANGERED” red snapper, two gag and six keeper sized mingo.
Needless to say we a great time despite the wind and the bumpy water!
