I just picked up this reel and I need to get a rod. I was wondering if anyone here has this reel and what rod they have it on, or if anyone has any suggestions. I'm trying to keep from breaking the bank....

Had a TLD-20 mounted on an Ernie Cavitt Spiral wrapped rod. Sold the reel and now have an Avet JX mounted to the same rod.

Awesome rod. The spiral wrap lets the rod bend like spinning rod with eyes down and avoids the torqing and twisting that conventionals tend to have.

Other off the rack options are Ugly Stick Tiger Lite Jigging or ShimanoTrevala. Both are great conventional rods, but its hard to compare with a spiral wrapped rod for bottom fishing.
