tried a new idea today. soft boiled egg wrapped in deer/pig sausage, wrapped in mozzarella, wrapped in pie crust. had a couple problems. dough slid down the sides on all but 2 of em. little too much ground clove and sage. not bad enough to keep me from eating em though. be better next time, prolly at the camp when it's colder weather. will be pretty good in the morning with some of the wife's bacon gravy and a dab of Steens on the side. oh yeah, and big cold glass of whole milk.
