What a beautiful day, seas were calm, skies were blue and the fishing was excellent. We left Sportsmans around 520am, loaded our livewell at a nearby private dock that we had set our pinfish traps and headed out the pass to the 1' seas... Headed southeast to some of our spots and proceeded to have a great day. We caught most of the fish on squid.. we did get our only red grouper on a white trout. He hit quite a few spots and checked out 2 old #'s I had that that were loran numbers that my Raymarine converted.. to my suprise we found them with ease... in fact I've found all the loran spots I've tried... maybe 7 total... The talley for the day was 13 scamp, 1 red grouper, 1 AJ, 12+ white snapper, 6 big triggers, 4 nice beeliners and more than a 4 man limit of pretty red snapper were thrown back.... sorry no pictures to post... I'll download them soon and post...
