Nice haul! They are definitely still thick out there. I have only been at chicken bone, still lots of fish out there too. Looks like I may need to broaden my horizons though! Fresh peeled shrimp has been producing. Lots of top water blow ups close enough to cast too also so keep one rigged and ready for the blues (Im guessing)! Anyone ever eat blues? Guy next to me caught 2 and kept them both and swore they taste great if eaten the same of next day at latest.

Bluefish taste excellent when put on ice & cleaned/cooked the day you catch them. Their meat may not look as appetizing as other species that you catch alongside them, but I promise you that you'll be keeping them more often once you try cooking one. My favorite way to cook them by a longshot is marinating them in a Worchestershire/parmesan/olive oil/seasoning salt/crushed red pepper mix for a few minutes & then baking them on 450 with a parmesan crust....
