Arrived at 17th ave launch around 6:00am, dumped the boat in the water and headed for Deer Point for some early morning action. Proceeded to work the docks with a skitterwalk while Kai (Beerfish) was working the bottom with a gulp jerk shad. Worked all the way to the point with only some lizardfish and small bluefish. Decided to pick up and move to 3mile. We started fishing the east side of the downed bridge heading north. Caught one white trout and was beginning to think it was going to be on of those days when wham. A minute later had a nice pompano in the boat. There were about 15-20 that came up with him so i kept working the area and hooked up 3 more times but never got another in the boat. We continued North and starting catching some nice size bluefish. Decided to keep one and try it out with the pompano for dinner tonight. Proceeded to catch 4 more big bluefish which were all released unharmed. Shortly there after, hooked a nice 24" redfish to complete dinner. It was a beautiful day on the water.

Headed back out Sunday for a couple of hours, water was rough so we headed towards project green shores to get out of the current. Caught a nice flounder on a red jig head with a new penny pogy. Went over by the palafox pier and ribbon fish were everywhere. Ended upat the hump on 3-mile and caught a baby gag jigging. Another beautiful day on the water.
