FLWhaler (12/21/2007) Is a smaller tank like this easier to maintaine than a larger one.

To me no. My last tank was a 125gal and now a I am running a 55gal. The bigger tank was a lot easier to keep balanced, Such as keeping up with water evaporation. No sump on the smaller one. Only good thing I can think of about the smaller one is there is less water to take out when doing a water change.
