When I was a young Personnel manager, I had to go to one of my favorite employees and tell her that her husband had fallen out of his tree stand, and that he had died from the injuries. That was terrible, but the next year I had to break the news that her 18 year old son had died in a car wreck. Life is short, and we need to enjoy each and every day of it.
