It always amazes me to hear local hunters talking about seeing bucks chasing doe's in Nov. and Dec. I sometimes think they did see deer, but perhaps they were just running. Just because a buck is running or trotting doesn't mean he is chasing. I have felt that most of our local AL hunters (south al) miss their rut, or it is just kicking off when the season closes. This is very unfortunate, it also tells us that those of us who hunt in FL,we should take full advantage of hunting the late primitive weapon season!! This was a very informative study, and a great subject to post!! We should all strive to be more educated on the animals we are hunting.
