Guys,

I saw another pole spear thread, but didn't want to hijack it. Quick question - if I have a 6 foot fiberglass pole spear with a paralyzer tip, what kind of band do I need to put on it? The old one broke and it was a hand-me-down (for which I am eternally grateful - you know who you are).

I just bought a replacement band for one of my pole spears at MBT. You can use bands made for pole spears or spear gun bands that have a string conecting the ends. Just run the string through the hole in the spear and loop the band through itself.

I try to find a band that will stretch near the end of the pole when it is at its max length. However, your preference may vary.

probably 9.5mm 30 inch band. that might help.
