Redfish Friday

Had a meeting going on this weekend in Orange Beach and had a couple people I do business with that were in from out of town and wanted to do a little fishing. Well with the Bull Reds starting to show up I thought we might have some luck. One of my guest fishes a lot, but never for Bull Reds. The other a young lady from Colorado had NEVER been fishing before. We left Perdido Pass and headed east. Trolled for a while with no luck. Then I saw a group of boats together east of the Eden condos and knew we had found what we were looking for. We pulled in the stretches and got out the jigs. They were everywhere on top of the water feeding. Threw the first couple and had instant hookups. The lady who had never caught a fish was now hooked up on a nice Bull Red on light tackle! We followed them around for a couple of hours catching and releasing around 25. Then to top off the day we finished with the blue angels show. Days don't get much better.
