i have seen many fishing shows talking about venice la. being the location that the mississippi meets the gulf and that the fishing here (for reds n specks at least) is out of this world. is that year round? if not when is best? also they are (of course) always fishing from boats and never mention wading. well both of my boats are size ten so is there any areas there to wadefish?

The only areas to wade fish require a boat to get to. Anywhere that is accessible from a road you will disapperar into the mud.
