I grew up in Jay. It ain't rocket science. Strong gas cooker, water, salt and fresh peanuts. Other than seasoning them like you want, how damn complicated can it be? Hell, we were brought up on boiled peanuts. You can try to pass off a bunch of fancy recipes, but, water, salt and peanuts. Boil till done, (you'll know when they are), cool and eat. Only little trick I know of that isn't normally practiced? Icing them down when the nut is done and constant sampling till it is spiced as you like. Makes the seasoning soak up really fast. Cuts cooking time wayyy down. Same way you do crawfish or shrimp.
