Has anyone tried the rapala x wrap subwalk ... The one with the little tail fins ? I usually stick with my mirrodines. But this Looks Intresting and I like trying new lures from time to time ... Like to see what y'all think

Go to sports authority. They had some choice colors for 75% off. I bought all the white ones I could. They look great it the water. The 3-4 inch ones. I use them on choppy days when the surface walk does not walk quite right. I love a mirrodine but I strongly believe that tail and hook setup on the rear of the xrap helps with short strikes.

I bought one of these a while back and have yet to try it out. Just been sitting in the tackle box. I had the thought that it looked like a good idea as well so I of course bought another lure for the arsenal.

Had a bright orange one, lost it on a snag many months ago, but need to replace it. The action was very nice, quick darting left to right, reminds me of a spook jr., just quicker and sub-surface. It brought quite a few strikes with trout, and looked great in the water, just work it like a top water. Good luck!

cool... picked up an olive green one and plan on getting the orange next time around

The shimano waxwings are subsurface and dart back and forth. Sucks they are pricey but the action is pretty cool.
