How is the fishing? More importantly how is it to kayak? I was taking a back road to a friends house and noticed the location of adventures unlimited. Is that area good for fishing? Im relatively new to fishing in the area and the rivers.

All you need is a ultralite and some small beetle spins, You can have a blast with the bream and small bass. PM me if you decide to go and if im able i'll tag along.I've never yaked it so i cant say anything about that part.

Sounds like fun. Being Im from the midwest and have fished the Missouri River. I wonder if they recognize both Alabama and Florida fishing license on it since it borders both states. Any idea?

I think if you fish the Florida bank you need that license and Alabama for the Alabama bank. Not sure though.

You are required to have both, however I have never ever seen any game wardens from either state. Most likely as long as you stay in your kayak to fish having one or the other would work.
The only place I've ever seen this be a problem is around Ono Island/Old River. I was actually checked on the FL side (I'm AL res), but because I fish in FL several times a year I had a FL license. The warden was actually surprised that I was legal.
